Nature’s Answer
This short documentary focuses on the unrecognized impact of the Fundão Dam collapse on the surf community of Regência.
Through the perspective of a local surf leader, the film connects environmental destruction, loss of cultural identity and the fight for recognition — while documenting the slow regeneration of one of Brazil’s most iconic waves. Independently produced and commissioned by Corona Studios.
Alongside writing the script, I contributed to the direction and editing process, and captured a series of still photographs during the production.
